Our beef is known for its tenderness score! This is the best deal for your dollar. We process the steer and provide you a butcher cut sheet so you can have the steer prepared the way you'd like it.
When the steers are brought in they are fed a ration of hay and all natural grain for 120 days which puts a nice tenderness and beautiful marbling on the meat. Prices vary due to the fact that all animals finish deferentially. Final pricing will be shared once we get a hanging weight on the animal. Bosalita Livestock includes the cut and wrap fee in the total pricing of the meat this way it's easier for the consumer.
Total cost per pound is $7.50 on hanging weight (hanging weight is roughly 800 pounds). Finished product on a whole steer should be approximately 430 pounds.
We require a $3,000 deposit on a whole steer. All deposits go to the purchase price of the animal.
